Hi, I’m Melody, the human behind Haute Boheme Fibers.

I started this business because I love color, texture, and that electric little moment when the right fiber lands in your hands and suddenly you have six new project ideas and absolutely no intention of behaving responsibly. Haute Boheme Fibers is built around hand-dyed yarn and fiber in rich, saturated palettes designed to play well together, whether you knit, crochet, spin, weave, or wander confidently into some entirely new fiber-related obsession. I also stock patterns, hooks, tools, and other very useful temptations for makers who like beautiful materials and a little creative freedom.

But I want this to be more than a shop. I want it to be a place where people learn all the things. Where curiosity gets fed, skills get sharper, and exploration is part of the fun. Fiber arts should feel welcoming, joyful, and open-ended, not guarded by a panel of invisible judges with strong feelings about technique. Education, experimentation, and the joy of craft are part of everything I do.

The goal is simple: gorgeous fiber, open doors, and zero gatekeeping. Just beautiful materials, bold color, and full permission to make what lights you up, even if your project plan is equal parts vision, chaos, and blind faith.
